Road safety in the EU 2022: Around 20,600 people were killed in road crashes last year

The Commission is making available guidelines on methodology for network-wide road safety assessments.

Today, the European Commission welcomed road safety experts from the six Western Balkans regional partners to discuss progress in implementing the EU road safety acquis in the Western Balkans and to review developments regarding road safety in the region.

This brochure presents a comprehensive overview of road safety projects managed by CINEA and funded under Horizon 2020 – the EU's R&I programme (2014-2020) – that develop, test and exploit innovative solutions for a safer road transport.
