Collision matrix
This series of profiles uses data from a range of sources, including the CARE database, to provide an overview of the road safety situation in each country. There are currently 25 profiles with other countries to follow.
This series of reports provide the latest data and analysis related to a specific road safety topic, drawing on the most recent data in the CARE database. Each report is accompanied by an excel workbook containing detailed data.

In order to gain a much clearer understanding of the different issues that influence overall road safety performance, the Commission has elaborated, in cooperation with Member State experts, a first set of key safety performance indicators (KPIs).

The Road Safety Atlas is the European Road Accident Map Viewer of the European Commission. It supports interactive maps display and satellite overlays. It provides a user-friendly interface to discover up to date road safety indicators for European countries. Information is structured by themes.
Data on serious injuries are available for most countries from the CARE database. However, there is another common definition of a serious injury.
This series of reports aims to provide road safety practitioners with qualitative analysis and an overview of the latest research on a particular topic. More detailed papers or reports are suggested for further reading. Each report has a one-page summary.
