The European Road Safety Observatory (ERSO) of the European Commission as developed by the EC co-funded research projects SafetyNet and Dacota has been awarded the prestigious Prince Michael International Road Safety Award 2013 as recognition for its contribution to making widely available for the first time in Europe a wealth of road safety data and knowledge to support evidence based decision making.
