- Drivers of public road vehicles who drive or intend to drive public road transport vehicles or emergency vehicles and those employed as drivers of public road vehicles must meet the fitness requirements for category 2.

- Drivers who have not requested a medical fitness examination for category 2 are to be assigned to fitness category 1.
