Main rules
Vehicle registration was managed by the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic until 30/06/2001. It is now managed by the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic. There are two parts to the registration document. The serial number is the same in both parts.
Period of validity
All documents remain valid until they are deteriorated or modified in an unauthorised way.
