Main rules
Vehicle registration certificates are issued by the starosta (or city president in cities with powiat status) for the place of residence or seat of the vehicle's owner. The document is delivered as a single document. It confirms that the vehicle is allowed in traffic. The confirmation of the conducted technical inspection and the date of the next roadworthiness test is noted in the “Next technical inspection has to be conducted before...” or “Date of the technical inspection” cells , depending on the certificate form. A temporary registration certificate may also be issued for vehicles for export, transfer to a collection or a technical inspection or repairs.
Period of validity
In case there is a deadline until the document could have been used in administrative procedures after the cessation of the issue, please indicate here as well.
